There are many ways one can raise finance. Part of your business plan should be to create a sound company structure, a sound foundation on which to build your company or your project. Before an investor invests money in a project he will want to know that you have taken care of the legalities. These are some of the issues:

Short Check list. Do you have:

• a clean company that has complied with all the laws and is not vulnerable to prosecution for technical offences;
• an appropriate agreement with staff members that deal with trade unions, intellectual property rights, ownership of shares and existing procedures, amongst other things.

Making Money
